What Is Botox And How Does It Work?
Botox is a drug which doctors have been using for many years to treat the obvious signs of aging, such as wrinkles and facial creases. Botox is a brand name of a toxin made by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum.
There are other brands available in Australia such as Dysport, however our Doctors prefer to use Botox as often you require less units for effective results.
Botox works by blocking signals between the treated nerves and muscles. The injected muscle can no longer contract, thus relaxing and softening wrinkles.

It’s not usually necessary to remove both upper and lower arches in an All-On-4® treatment if one of them are in good shape. However, if both arches are badly damaged, it’s advisable to get them both replaced in a single treatment. This helps reduce cost of the whole treatment.
The completion time for an All-On-4® treatment can vary on certain factors. Ideally, the patient can expect to get a full restoration of their implants within 24 hours with their temporary teeth.
